Donations

Every year, YWCA Sudbury helps women and children at critical turning points through the Violence against Women Programs at Genevra House and men and women with developmental disabilities through Service Coordination

By contributing to YWCA Sudbury you can help us make the community a better place.  Through your generosity, we are able to provide the following to individuals who access our services.

For women and children who access our services through Genevra House:

Your support ensures:

  • Emergency transportation for women coming to the shelter and returning to their communities
  • Assistance with start up costs for women moving to new accommodations
  • Transitional services for women leaving the shelter and for women in the community
  • Specific clothing requirements (shoes, boots, coats, etc) for women and children arriving
     at the shelter
  • School supplies
  • Toys for the children’s outside play area at the shelter
  • Theme day supplies (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc.)
